If you didn't already know, I love no-bake bites. Simple and easy to make. Healthy snacks. Use whatever ingredients you have on hand. Win!
Have you ever tried freeze-dried fruit? I bought a little snack bag of "peach chips" from Walmart and figured I'd try them in some bites.
Ingredients:
6 pitted dates
1 Tbsp. Hemp Hearts
1 scoop protein powder (I used Vanilla Ancient Nutrition Bone Broth Protein Powder)
1 can of garbanzo beans (drained and rinsed)
1 bag Freeze Dried Peaches Fruit Crisps
1 Tbsp Flax Seed Meal
1 Tbsp nut butter ( I used 5 seed butter Beyond Equator)
2 Tbsp Pb Fit Powder
How To:
Put the freeze-dried fruit in a food processor and make it into powder. Then throw all the ingredients in a food processor until well combined. Use a tbsp and make them into balls. Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
You will make about 18 bites, depending on the size you make.
According to my fitness pal, they are about 76 calories per bite.
