Taking a rest day is needed if you live in this fast-paced world.
Yoga is a great way to unwind and relax as well as breathe and relieve some stress. Yoga is just one of the many ways to actively recover and help to live life to the fullest. As part of my healthy Just Move philosophy, I do strength training, HIIT cardio, adventures of hiking and occasionally run on trails. But I find when I can incorporate yoga and a good cool down and stretch after my workouts, I recover faster.
Yoga has been a part of my routine for years now. I'm no guru of yoga, but I definitely have a love for the flow and breathes. Yoga has a way of stretching life out all while finding inner understandings and peace. For this, in the crazy world that we live in, I can appreciate incorporating a bit of yoga in my life, as often as I can.
