This was a winner of a dinner in our house for those that enjoy spaghetti and lasagna.
Precook sausage in a pan until cooked all the way through. Cut into slices. Set aside. Add onions into the pan and saute then add zucchini once the onions are slightly transparent. Add can of whole tomatoes, cut into chunks and simmer down with onions and zucchini for 7-10 minutes on medium heat. Add the spices to taste. Add the sausage and stir in until combined. Turn off heat. Put all heated ingredients into a casserole dish, top with grated mozzarella cheese (as much as you like) and bake for 20 minutes on 350 degrees.
